I am currently in my third year at Blackpool and Fylde college studying photography on the degree program.
I graduate July 2003 and plan to remain in Lancashire for the next year so as to concentrate on
developing and continuing my book whilst commencing personal projects.
I was born in Hertfordshire and lived there until 1998 when I moved to Nottingham
to complete an HND in photography and digital imaging at Notingham Trent University.
Having completed that I moved to Blackpool to commence the BA(Hons) Photography programme.
My work is based upon issues of melancholy and nostalgia. I try to create romantic depictions
and combine these with cold undertones through use of colour, texture and mood -
the primary aim always being to create an emotion within the image that the viwer can absorb.
My interest lies mainly within fashion/ portraiture, still life and architecture - both interior and exterior.
